thegarzasfromtx: Summer Begins in Alaska

So summer has begun for the kids up here in Alaska.... they have been enjoying the weather and taking advantage of the sun being out late.. sunset is not until almost midnight now~AMAZING!!! Dagan has finished 1st Grade and will be going to 2nd Grade next year, he is also attending Tae Kwon Do (form of karate) classes during the week for one hour... he is enjoying it!!! Kailey finished her first year of Pre-K and will be attending again next year (doesnt matter if here or Texas) but because of her speech delay she should be able to attend no matter what! Samantha is now liking being able to walk outside and be on the grass and go to playground with her brother and sister.

Last day of school they got to release the butterflies they had, they watched them go from caterpillars to butterflies

Dagan with his friend Johannes, they were together in Kindergarten and were still close in 1st grade! Johannes lives down the road from us and he comes to play with Dagan sometimes.

Dagan has been practicing riding his bike with no training wheels, he is doing an AWESOME job and loves that he can go riding around!! he also has learned to take off on his own with no assistance from us. He has to wear his helmet as a Army regulation and he enjoys it!
