So we have started the New Year 2011 in Alaska... we have officially been up here 2 years!!! amazing how time flies... well we have some accomplishments to share with everyone!! Dagan has been moved to the principals reading group and now goes once a week to a different teacher for more challenging work-Thinking Skills. Dagan's reading level is 65 wpm where 1st graders should be at around 30 wpm-so he is doing exceptionally well. We are all very proud of him and he loves going to Barnes and Noble to get books once we are done with the other books he has. Kailey is doing great with going potty- she is doing well at letting us or her teachers know when she needs to go and is expressing herself alot more. Her progress report from her Pre-K teacher states she is improving and at home we can notice it because she is able to tell what is happening or who is to blame. Samantha is now WALKING!!! She started taking some small steps last week but now we can go from room to room to see what everyone is doing. She can climb the stairs when its bathtime and will also do it when we accidentally leave the babygate open. She is trying to say words and she has about 10-12 teeth that seem to have spouted over night. As for Roy and myself we are doing well and are just waiting for news to go home.
