Christmas 2010

So this Christmas we are still in Alaska and wishing we were home with family, but not being able to we thought we would celebrate here with the kids. Kids were excited about counting down the days to Christmas with the "A Beary Merry Christmas" count down. This was mine when I was little and I am now enjoying moving the bear each day to a new location. Since we were going to be home for the 2 weeks of Christmas break, I decided that it was time to start potty training Kailey. We had a rocky start but we are happy to report that we are doing GREAT at going to the potty and letting momma and daddy know she needs to go. Samantha is being braver and standing on her own when she can, hopefully she will be walking soon. Dagan was very excited to see that Santa had come to our house and has been very thankful for all he has.

This Christmas countdown was Vickys when she was little and now the kids get to enjoy it.

As for roy and me, roy got a Alaska coffee mug and i got an electric griddle that was used to make pancakes for christmas breakfast. We are getting together with friends later to have dinner and let the kids have some fun. Hope everyone had a great merry christmas and we are hoping to be back in Texas for next holiday season.
